Who We Are

The Most Sought-After Hub

The Lagos Hub is a vibrant community of young changemakers dedicated to creating positive impact in Lagos and beyond. As part of the Global Shapers Community, the Lagos Hub brings together dynamic young leaders from diverse sectors who are passionate about driving social change, fostering innovation, and shaping a better future for all.

Through various initiatives in areas like education, health, civic engagement, and the environment, the Lagos Hub is committed to making Lagos a more inclusive and sustainable city.

Founded by Klaus Schwab in 2011, the Global Shapers Community is a unique network of young people passionate about driving dialogue, action, and change across the globe. As a non-profit registered in Switzerland, the GSC aims to inspire, empower, and connect young leaders to make a real impact in their communities and beyond.

The mission of the GSC is focused on developing future leaders, supporting youth-led projects and amplifying young voices. Currently, there are 502 hubs across 155 countries globally.

The World Economic Forum, founded in 1971, is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation. It provides a global, impartial, not-for-profit platform for meaningful connections between stakeholders to establish trust and build initiatives for cooperation and progress.

The World Economic Forum engages political, business, academic, civil society and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas and make real impact.
